Frequently Asked Questions
It's my first time, what if I don't know anybody?
Don't sweat it! Chances are that there is someone here from your school that you probably know. Find an adult and they'll be sure to point you in the right direction!
Where are you located?
We are located at the corner of East Church Street and Tennessee Street, 2 miles east of I-75. The church is located across the street from CVS and Walgreens and right down the road from Cartersville High School. Our address is 112 East Church Street, Cartersville, GA 30120.
What schools do students come from?
We have students from most schools in Bartow County and some schools from Cobb County and Paulding County, including private, Christian, and homeschools.
What is A200?
A200 is the Old Sanctuary of the church and it's where the Student Ministry meets for large group on Sunday mornings and student services on Wednesday evenings.
What do you offer for students on the weekend?
Both Middle and High School offer small group Bible studies (LifeGroups) on Sunday Mornings at one of two hours – 9:15 or 10:45am. Middle School LifeGroups meet at 9:15am and High School LifeGroups meet at 10:45am. It's a chance for students to get to know other believers, have fun, and study the Bible as we experience life together. We also have a LifeGroup Fellowship that takes place from 10:20 to 10:40 on Sundays so that both Middle and High School hours can come together and fellowship. We meet in A200 for the large group portion and the Student Ministry Building (Old Preschool Building) for small groups.
What do you offer for students during the week?
Each Wednesday, through the school year, we have Connect and The Gathering. Connect is a time of fun and fellowship for students and it begins at 5:30pm on the 1st floor of the Student Building. The Gathering is our student service, which goes from 6:30-7:30pm. The Gathering is for all students in the 6th-12th grade and is held in A200. It's a night of high energy fun, music, friends, and a challenging message from our Student Pastor. Check out our Wednesday Nights page for more info.
